Mike and I were very close when we served in the Navy. He was a mentor and very much like a big brother. Our sons loved playing together. We had great times together at work and in our free time. Some of my fondest Navy memories include him. I haven't seen him in many years but I have never forgotten and will never forget what a good friend and shipmate he was. I look forward to seeing him again in heaven. May God grant him great joy and his family comfort.

I will never forget all the wonderful times we spent together in the Navy. Mike always treated me like a brother.
God bless him, and God bless Bonnie in this time of sorrow.

I will cherish the memories of our youth on the farm and in Florida. During our adult years our time together was rare but I always looked forward to those visits. My sincere condolences to Danny, Bonnie and the children. May Mike find peace and comfort as he joins Uncle Bill and Aunt Jean as well as his brothers and sister.
