Although we only had the privilege of meeting Bill on a couple of occassions, he made a major impression on us. We only wish we had met him years earlier. His gentleness, sincere and jovial disposition were so inspiring, especially knowing that a lifetime of debilitating arthritis has causing his such pain.

You would never know of the pain that he carried as he covered it up with a smile and a kind word. Truly a genuine amazing man.

We think of you often and are are so happy that we were given the opportunity to meet such an inspirational person.

We can certainly see why Dad (Tom Fournier) held Bill and Mona in such high regard.

God Bless you, Mona and your boys.

Bill was always cheerful and kind inspite of suffering with severe arthritis. He was my brother in law and good friend and I will miss him.

Uncle Bill was no ordinary uncle to me. He and I had always had a great time together, but it really started to develop into something more special than the typical run of the mill uncle/niece relationship as I was getting older.

My own dad passed away when I was 11 and I was adament that nobody would ever take his place growing up. Bill never tried to replace my dad and always said that no one could. As I got a little older, even to my own surprise, I found myself accepting Billy as a father-figure. I had even come up with an official title for his relation to me..."Uncle-Dad". He always grinned from ear to ear when I would call him that. He always had such a great smile!

When it came time for me to get married and choose someone to walk me down the aisle it was no contest who would do it since my own dad couldn't. Bill and I cried that day as he accepted my propsal. He had a gentle way about him that calmed my heart and was always a very good shoulder to cry on even when he should have been doing the crying at times. I don't know that anyone will ever fill his shoes (or shoe as he joked with me after his leg was amputated). The minister said a prayer with our family just before his funeral service. He said that "you can only know the kind of pain that comes with such loss because we loved him and were loved by him." How true...I miss him more and more each day. He was the dad to me that he didn't have to be.

My life was made better because he shared in it and the world certainly was a better place with him in it. I just wish that everyone could have an "Uncle-Dad" like I did...a heart like that is a rare find!

Greatly missed by both Michelle and Mike

Hi Bill!
Just got back from your reception. You must have been laughing at me when I spilled that cup of coffee all over myself. Rose the klutz strikes again. The service was wonderful and there were so many impressive parts (to numerous to mention). WOW what a great impression you have left with everyone. I wish we had been able to have had more visits together. You were so loved and will be missed by so many. I for one will miss your smiling countenance walking down the steet. God be with you my friend. Enjoy the peace you so richly deserve.

Mona my thoughts and condolences are with you and the boys. Bill will be missed by all but he is still looking over his loved ones. He will always be with you.
