Mr. Bill, all i can say is you were a "Legend", much like my own father was. You were from the "old school" where you took life on with sarcasm, humor and worked harder than anyone i know. You touched everyone's life at AIG and left your imprint on us. You had special nicknames for us and constantly made us laugh. Thank you for serving our country, thank you for being yourself and may you rest in peace at the most beautiful place with your beloved wife.

I was one of his "girls" as he always say to all his claim assistant. A very kind & most generous man I've known. Mr Bill, you will be missed; you were in the hands of our Lord now with your wife. My deepest condolence to the family.

Bill Paul was the "Most Interesting Man in the world" - can you still hear him say "gads!" - which led to a story. He was an old school insurance man who had a second life as our longest temp [at AIG]. We were all his girls, and actually learned a lot about claims and tons of other things from him. A life well lived, even though he was so crabby on the outside- Bill's secret acts of kindness always gave him away. Nothing could make him light up more than talking about his grandkids. He will be sorely missed, but fondly remembered by all. Rest in Peace, Mr Bill.

I'd like to give Tanya Munoz a heartfelt thanks for providing the pictures on this site. She also made the cigarette bouquet in one of the pictures shown, and it was priceless! So funny! He loved it and picked off one at a time for his smoke breaks!
Always so creative Tanya!!

Bill was an honorable and caring friend, the BOSS, a colleague, and yes Dad and Grandfather to me as the years passed. He loved hamburgers with just mustard and fries for lunch on the few occasions he would let us pay. He was an organized, expert claims man, and loyal, trusted coworker. A generous man who preferred to give rather than receive. Ditto to what so many have said...he was ONE OF A KIND and will be dearly missed. Thank you to the family and "the grandkids" who took such good care of him. I'm so glad we were able to spend time together on the day of the Memorial at Bill's favorite place. He spoke highly of the friends he and his wife had there. God Bless you Bill Paul. May you enjoy peace and the love from family and friends for an eternity. XOXO

What a precious gift from God you were. You now rest in your eternal fathers arms forever. I am sure that you are getting as many laughs up there as you did here on earth. I remember your "Got Prozac" sign in your cubicle and how you made me laugh everyday. I was so blessed to have worked with you and honored to call you a friend.

I'll never forget the day I returned to AIG, sitting in the desk behind Mr. Bill. He was kind, thoughtful and patient. As the time passed his spunk began to emerge, only to cover the person we all knew as the most giving, thoughtful and wonderful spirit.
RIP Mr. Bill you will be missed by all that have had the pleasure of knowing you.

Bill Paul,
You are one of the most precious men I have ever known.
I was so fortunate to work with you.
You served our country as Veteran of the Korean War but down played this. You had the best work ethic and were an excellent example to young adjustors just starting.
You frequently and quietly did good and generous deeds.
You made my work day more interesting and fun and I laughed every day I worked with you.
Rest in peace and Glory in Heaven with your precious wife Sharon.
My deep condolences to his family.
What a beautiful service.

I came to work with and know Mr. Bill when I was hired by AIG in 2001. It was at the tail end of his career here. In the short time I worked with him, he was so sweet. I really enjoyed him and he will be sorely missed. I really love seeing this picture of him as a young man.
My sincerest sympathies to his loved ones-
