William R. Ploss, 65, formerly of Spring St., Corry, Pa., died Tuesday, January 29, 2019, at the Corry Manor.
He was born August 21, 1953 in Corry, Pa., a son of Myrtle Loomis Ploss of Corry, Pa., and the late Ernest Ploss.
Bill was raised and educated in the Corry area. For several years he did piece work for GECAC.
He attended the Salvation Army and Assembly of God Church, both in Corry. Bill enjoyed family gatherings, carving and going for walks.
In addition to his mother, Bill is survived by three sisters, Roxy Ann Derby of Jamestown, N.Y., Darlene Westerlund of Wyoming, and Connie Yoder of Jamestown, N.Y.; and many nieces and nephews.
There will be no visitation held.
Services will be held privately by the family at a later date.
Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Corry, Pa.
Arrangements are under the care of the Bracken Funeral Home, Inc., 315 N. Center St., Corry, Pa.
