PONICH, William (Bill) Nick On Saturday, January 6, 2007, William Nick Ponich of Mundare, formerly of Vegreville, passed away suddenly at the age of 77 years. William is remembered by his sons, Larry (Cindy), Danny (Bonnie), Richard and their mother, Susan; grandchildren, Brett, Derek, Brandon, Melissa, David, Stephanie and Stacie; brothers, Walter (Ruth), Mike (Rochelle), Orest (Gloria); sisters, Evelyn (Ed) Belanger, Olga (George) Semeniuk; numerous nieces, nephews and close friends. William was predeceased by his parents, George (Gregory) and Anne Ponich; brother, Marshall; sisters, Elsie, Phyllis, Olga. Divine Liturgy Friday, January 12 at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Trinity Ukrainian Catholic Church, Vegreville with interment in Riverside Cemetery. In lieu of other tributes, donations may be made to the Stollery Children's Hospital Foundation, 4th Floor, Aberhart Centre, 11402 University Avenue NW, Edmonton, AB T6G 2J3.
