When I think of Wayne, I remember a soft spoken southern guy. At the last family reuion he was on crutches, he said his horse stepped on his foot, but it wasn't the horses fault, he is a good old horse. He told us one time he fell over the dog, but it wasn't the dog's fault, he was just happy to see Wayne, once again he was a good old dog. That was Wayne, and that humor will be missed by us all.
Patti, we know you spent years taking care of Wayne and how much we admire you for doing this. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Patti, I know how much you meant to my brother Wayne. You must be a very good roper and tamer because Wayne always had the spirit of a wild mustang. His casual manner and that cowboy smile always fascinated me when I was too young to know who he really was. Later in life, I came to learn that Wayne is one of those "Good 'Ole Boys" that are put on earth to spread good will and maybe a few good times. The mold for Wayne was broken.

For you, Patti, I hope you enjoyed his spirit, as I know he loved you very, very much. I think I can speak for all the Raney's when I say we all love you for loving Wayne so much.

May God bless you and your family.
