(Retired Employee of the Purchasing Department of General Motors Canada)
Suddenly at home on Monday, October 28th, 2013 in his 84th year. Beloved husband of Regna for 56 years. Proud and cherished father of Tom, Bruce and his wife Susan, David and his wife Lynette. Loving Poppa of Jackie, Katie and Jordan. Dear brother of the late Millie, Pearl and Marg. He will be fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral Service will be held at ST. ANDREW'S PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH (209 Cochrane St., Whitby) on Friday, November 1st at 1:00 p.m. with visiting 1 hour prior to service. Interment Groveside Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario would be appreciated.

Bill and Regna let me join their Christmas Eve Open House, they drove me to university, they welcomed me in their home whenever I visited (which was often when Bruce and I were in High School and university together). Bill always made me feel completely and warmly welcome. He always offered a big smile and just as often, a cold beer. Love him.
