William H Simpson passed away from renal failure on June 15th, 2023. He was born October 23rd, 1948 and was a native of Oldham County, Kentucky. He graduated from Oldham County High School, class of 1966. He attended Weber State College in Ogden, Utah. Bill married and later divorced the late Dianna Collard of Utah. He had an honorable discharge from the United States Air Force as a Vietnam Era Veteran. Bill was in the restaurant business for 25 years and was an avid sports enthusiast before losing his vision. William later in life found joy, and peace in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and was a faithful follower of Christ. Bill is survived by his two sons, Jason J Simpson (Susan), Daniel S Simpson (Becky) of Utah, and seven grandchildren Dayton, Trendon, Carson, & Tyson (Jason's boys), and Sam, Eli, and Madi (Daniel's kids) all of northern Utah.

William's body was cremated.

Brother Bill Simpson was always a joy to be around. Many a child felt of his kindness after church when he would hand out candy. He would take the time to memorize the children´s name and voices and always have a words of encouragement for each child. Bill loved the church and before his health failed him he had the chance to be a Sunday School teacher and share his life´s experiences and knowledge of Jesus Christ with young men and women´s who would listen intently to stories. Bill will be missed and remembered by many in the LaGrange Ward of the The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
