William Randolph ''Bill'' Sinks Sr., age 77, of Hendersonville passed away on June 17, 2006. Mr. Sinks was a longtime business and civic leader in Hendersonville. He served in the U.S. Army, a graduate of Loyola University in Chicago, entrepreneur and was an avid UT Fan. He was married to the former Darlene Waltemeyer from 1953 until her death in 1994. He is also preceded in death by his sister Jeane Sinks Murray. He married Dona Reynolds Sinks in 2002 who survives him. He is also survived by his sons, Bill Jr. (Diana) Sinks, Tim (Darlene) Sinks and John (Pam) Sinks; stepsons, Mike (Karen) Reynolds and Randy (Brenda) Reynolds; grandchildren, Ryan Sinks, Kendell Sinks, Adam Sinks, Abby Sinks, Austin Sinks, Savannah Sinks, Dustin Shaw, Chase Reynolds, Chandler Reynolds and Caleb Reynolds; brother, John Sinks; sisters, Bye Doyle and Trish Towle. Visitation will be from 2 p.m. until 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. Thursday, June 22, at Hendersonville Funeral Home. Services will be conducted 1 p.m. Saturday, June 24, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church with Father Joe McMahon officiating. Honorary pallbearers are Max Hawkins, Marshall Head, Dennis Castellari, Jack Rutter, Bill Schmidt, Bill Reichman, Bob Howell and Paul Scanlan. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the William R. Sinks, Sr. Scholarship Fund c/o Pinnacle National Bank, 270 E.
