William Sleight Obituary
He was born April 4, 1963 in Dansville to Gary and Carol Sleight.
Bill was predeceased by his mother Carol, and sister, Lynne.
He is survived by his father, Gary Sleight of Dansville; two brothers, George Sleight of Sparta and Gary (Bobbi Jo) Sleight of Canaseraga; as well as his aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the Mann Funeral Home in Canaseraga on Thursday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. A funeral will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Jess Flint officiating.
Burial will be at Canaseraga Cemetery in Canaseraga.

Bill called my Dad once a week every week up until he passed. I mainly knew him as a little boy. We talked on the phone often though over the years when I was growing up. When the phone would ring at an odd hour we'd always go 'there's Bill!". My dad passed two years ago and I know they're chilling up in heaven. Love ya, Bill.

I knew Bill through his volunteer work at the Mt. Morris Food Pantry. He was always so helpful to all of us there and so good to everyone who came to the pantry. He cared about others and did his best for everyone...he is very much missed by many.
Wishing his family peace and comfort. Bill's was truly a life well lived.

I am so sorry for your loss bill's family, he was a big man with a Big heart and he had a good heart and soul, he was a good person that people can hang out with, Bill was in Special Olympics and he was in my self advocacy group for Hilltop industries to and He did touched all of people's life's, He will be missed, my thoughts are with the bill's family and bill will always be remembered as a good, nice, polite, helping, thankful, men and Fly high Bill !, Rest In Peace Bill.

I will forever remember Bill as a sweet gentle giant whose heart was filled with love. Bill was always the first to volunteer no matter what the task was, he was a heck of an athlete, and a true gentleman, I am very happy to have known Bill, and proud to say he is my friend, Bill will missed by his friends, I for one am sad to say goodbye to my dear friend.
