William Snyder Obituary

William S. "Bill" Snyder, passed away on November 7, 2013 after a heroic battle with cancer surrounded by family and friends. After graduating from DeSoto High School in 1983, Bill went to Texas State Technical Institute and graduated as a certified ASE mechanic. He started a career with WFS in Las Colinas, Texas before moving on to Virginia Beach and then Raleigh, North Carolina where he served as Regional Collections Center Manager. Bill managed many people who went on to take higher positions with Wells Fargo and his branch was consistently a top performer in the United States. Bill had a passion for life. He enjoyed all types of car racing, boating, fishing and spending time with his family. Bill was an animated story teller who always enjoyed making people laugh and smile. Bill's positive attitude and can-do spirit was influential to all of his family and friends. Bill never took life for granted and was always looking for a new challenge or adventure. He quickly made lifetime friends in Virginia and North Carolina who helped him assimilate to his new surroundings and have become great friends to his family and friends in Texas. Bill is survived by his sister, Martie Powell and husband Boyd; three brothers, Ron Snyder and wife Denise, Tom Snyder and wife Betty and John Snyder. A memorial service celebrating Bill's life will be held on Saturday, November 16, 2013 at 12PM at the Boze Mitchell McKibbin Chapel. To view online, please visit www.bmm.com.
