Milford, Michigan - William "Bill" John Sopsich Jr, age 65, passed away on May 19, 2024, in Milford, Michigan. He was born on December 16, 1958, in Detroit, MI. Bill was a devoted son, brother, father, and grandfather. He is survived by his daughters Amy Sopsich (Brian Smith), Emily Elsey (Jim Elsey), and Katie Sopsich, as well as 7 grandchildren. Bill is also survived by his father William J. Sopsich Sr, brother Robert Sopsich, sister Carrie Sopsich, 3 nephews, and 1 niece. He was preceded in death by his mother, Marion Sopsich.
Bill graduated from Milford High School and had a great love for the outdoors. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time at his cabin.
A luncheon to celebrate Bill's life will be held on August 11, 2024, from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm at The Lift, 786 W. Highland Rd, Highland, MI 48357.
Rest in peace. You will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved you.

Talking about awesome places we had been to on the road. Stopping at "North 40" awesome outfitters store in Montana. Bill gifting my chickens a block of seed treats. His laughter was contagious and generous.

Praying for Billy, his family, our neighbors and friends from the classes of the 70s. We lived well along the fence line of Kensington Park on Buno Rd. Always cherish the days at Possum Hollow, the bon fires, hay rides, the crazy things done and the true fellowship of Milford's unique brothers and sisters, from a time like no other. God bless America & all ya'll!
