I am so sorry to hear of the loss of a wonderful man and former partner of mine at RSM McGladrey, Inc. Bill stood tall in height but even taller as a kind and generous man. My thoughts and prayers are with the family and pray they you find peace in knowing he was so very loved. Warmest, Rose Panico-Marino

My Name is Joseph Waldron. Friends of the Family. My Brother Pat worked for the Family. My Grandmother Leona Warren owned the original store . And then the Family owned it. The Family was very kind to our family When my Mother passed away . Barbara always was Dressed to Nines. And her Hair was PERFECT. Mr. S was So Kind us kids . I remember the wooden floors and the little tiny store and the deli department always great food always a kind smile and always said hi to you and ask how your family is doing. I´ll remember all of them for always being so kind to everybody and everybody loved going to their store and then they moved over to their new store which was very nice as well. God bless the whole family, your friend, the Waldron, family and the Warren family.

Bill became an instant friend from the day we met in our apartment building and he saw me stare at his height wondering if he was a pro ball player and he said something about the air being the same up there.
We had many great times and I always enjoyed his family´s visits for more than just the great food they brought. I am in shock reading about his passing. We just saw each other at Ravinia in August and he promised to look me up in Florida this winter.
My condolences to his family; Bill was a truly wonderful man who lives on in all the memories he provided.

Bill & I have been been friends since we both lived in our hometown of Des Moines, Iowa back in the 1980s.
We enjoyed many good visits, an occasional game of basketball, & I even introduced him to golf.
Bill was always in a positive mood. He was bright, wise, hard-working, & warm-spirited. We'd always try to get together when I was visiting Chicago.
Bill was a great guy who lived a life well-lived. I'll miss him.

To the Spizeman family, I am so sorry for your loss. I knew Bill from East Bank as I am a swimmer there. I always admired his determination to learn to swim. He was always so friendly and nice to me and we had nice conversations throughout the years. May his memory be a blessing.

Bill was a good friend for over 40 years and was in my wedding party. We shared many fun times together, and he truly was the definition of a mensch.
I had the privilege of introducing Bill to the game of golf, and over the years we enjoyed countless rounds together-including his very last, just a couple of days before he passed.
Bill will be deeply missed. May his memory be a blessing.

I have worked side by side with Bill's dentist, as his assistant, for nearly 15 years, and have known him for that entire time. This is a shocking loss and Bill will be missed. He was a wonderful man.
