Quietly on August 19, 2007. Beloved husband of Lillian Taylor; father of Kerry Edward Taylor, Ancell Mitchell, Patricia Mitchell and Deborah Blackwell; stepfather of Anthony, Patrick and Michelle Bateman; brother of Tomas J. Taylor, Anna Brown, Rose Morin and Elsie Witherspoon; also survived by seven grandchildren. Friends may call Thursday 4-8pm at WHITE MEMORIAL CHAPEL OF POINT BREEZE, 7204 Thomas Blvd., at N. Homewood Ave. Funeral Ceremony Friday 11am in St. Paul Baptist Church, 6701 Penn Ave. North Point Breeze. Interment Allegheny Cemetery.

DeeDee,Pat and Debbie,
Please accept my heartfelt sympathy on the passing of your father.I had been going to the same church as Mr.Taylor for over 20 years and he was such a gentleman.I enjoyed being in his company. I will keep you in my prayers.

Mrs. Taylor,
Joanne told me about Mr. Taylor. I am sorry for your loss. I miss you both and fondly recall our Prayer Meetings and Bible study. The two of you were the rock - singing, praying and fellowshipping. Your faith strengthened my faith. I will never foget it. And that faith continues to keep me - and I know you know it will sustain too, at this time. God Bless you and keep you, always. We'll see Mr. Taylor in Heaven!!! And we'll sing and pray together - again.
