Gladys Hennings

Gladys Geneva Hennings, 73, of Phoenix, Ariz., passed away on Sunday, Sept. 7, 2008. She is survived by a daughter, Nora Jean Smith and her husband, Wayne, of Granite Falls; a son, Richard Branch of Hildebran; stepchildren, Kyle Hennings, Kaylene Threet and Karla Taylor, all of Idaho; brothers James and his wife, Azalene, Junior and his wife, Pat, Tommy and his wife, Louise, Leslie and his wife, Jeannie and Ray Allison and his wife, Audrey, all of Old Fort, William and his wife, Carolyn of California, and Bill Allison and his wife, Edna of Granite Falls; adopted niece, Sandra George; and a host of relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Will and Nora Allison; her husband, Norman Hennings; a son, Jimmy Allison; sisters, Pauline Byrd and Joyce Berry; and a brother, Clyde Allison. The family would like to thank Jan Downing and Nina "Cookie" Laswell of Hospice of the Valley for all their support. A private service will be held at a later date.
