William WALKDEN Obituary
December 18, 2022; beloved husband of Billie Jane (nee: Cooper); devoted father of William (Kristie Newman) Walkden Jr. and Scott Walkden; loving grandfather of William III, Rebecca (Benjamin) Fazio, Matthew, Madilyn, and Kennedy; great-grandfather of Ryker, Samuel, Asher, Paxton, and Micah; dear brother of John (Jan) Walkden; also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Mr. Walkden was a U.S. Navy Veteran, a former member of the Army National Guard, and Past Commander of the U.S. Coast Guard Auxillary. William was the Past Fire Chief of Vigilant Fire Company in West Seneca, NY., and a member of Masonic Lodge #1111. Visitation at the BUSZKA FUNERAL HOME INC. 2085 Union Rd., West Seneca Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. A funeral service will be held following visitation at 8 pm in the funeral home chapel. Donations in William's name may be made to the Ismailia Shriners Temple (1598 South Western Blvd., West Seneca NY 14224). Flowers gratefully declined. Online condolences at www.buszkafuneralhome.com

I missed the funeral of this wonderful human being. We had many great times as fathers in scouting. Always a pleasure to be with. We never had a bad word. Blessings.

My heart is heavy learning about the passing of Bill. Bill was always so kind and caring with my daughter Anna at church. I certainly enjoyed our time at St. Peter's coffee hour. I will be thinking of you all at this most difficult time.
