William Watson Obituary
Billy was born in Dallas, TX to Frances and George Watson. He graduated Austin High School in 1964, he then went on to serve in the United States Air Force and then the Austin Police Department, where he served his community for 6 years. He meet and married his wife, Judy, in 1970. Shortly after they moved to Alaska where they would spend the next 25 years before moving to TN and eventually back home to TX. Billy loved art and was a phenomenal painter. He was also a corvette enthusiast, and served as the President of the Alaska Corvette Club for many years.
He is survived by his wife Judy, his daughter Monique Kahl (Thomas), and his son Chad Watson, and 4 grandchildren, Lilyan Donahue (Cody), Avery Eldridge, Blake Watson and Maddie Watson, as well as many beloved nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, his brother (HL Fletcher) and sister (Gay Watson).
More details to follow regarding burial at the Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery and family gathering to honor his life later this summer.
