As a contemporary and fellow classmate with Bill at St Albans School from 1952 to 1955, Bill was a model in many ways of what I wanted to be or become as I struggled with the temptations, choices, and challenges of my latter teens. Always a friend, unpretentious, sincere and sober, he exhibited the maturity that escaped my understanding and grasp. It was not until 2014 that I became aware of the similarities of the paths followed, value judgments and eternal goals which shaped our lives and those of our families after graduation. We shall miss him dearly and hopefully, as we sang together in glee club in school, so may we join again to sing in the councils of Heaven. Love you, buddy! Dick and Barb.

Elaine, we were so saddened to learn of Bill's passing. We will always remember how you extended interest and support to us when we moved to Rootstown, Ohio in 1981. The two of you were such good examples of serving others; you opened your hearts and home to so many. Countless individuals will never forget your model as a couple in a society where traditional efforts to strength relationships are less and less valued.
Thank you for your friendship and attentiveness to us at a time when we needed just a little more encouragement. You will be in our prayers and thoughts.
