Bill Williams was born in Roscoe, Texas on April 11, 1937 to parents Eddie Eugene Williams and Minnie Belle (Blaine) Williams. He spent his early years in the small town of Loraine. In 1942, the family packed up and moved to Colorado City. After high school, Bill attended McMurry college in Abilene, Texas where he earned a Math Degree. Upon graduation, Bill married his lifetime love, Jane Craig, and together they started their 61 year journey of love and devotion.

Bill joined the Army shortly after their nuptials. He served for 2 years from 1962-64. The newlyweds were stationed in Yuma, Arizona during his time of service. Next, Bill and Jane moved to Austin where he completed his Civil Engineering degree at The University of Texas. After a short time in Glendale, California, they returned home to Irving, Texas in 1967 where they resided for 30 plus years. Bill began his professional career in the oil and gas industry with Texas Power and Light as a manager of Pipeline Construction. In 1980, he was employed by Endevco as Vice President of Pipeline and Plant Construction, Engineering and Operations. He later spent time with Cornerstone Natural Gas before moving to Energy Transfer Partners as Vice President of Engineering and Operations and Vice President of Measurement. He later served on their Board of Directors following retirement. Bill and Jane attended Plymouth Park United Methodist Church in Irving, Texas. Bill also loved to travel to Lajitas as often as possible where he could do both of his favorite hobbies- golf and walking with a purpose. One of Bill's best qualities was his smile. It would light up everyone around him. In 2006, Bill purchased his beloved Texas Star Ranch. He spent the remaining years of his life in the place he loved best with the people he loved most, including his two Longhorn steers, J.B. and Hollis. He was a great man and will be missed by his family he loved so much and many friends.

Jane & Family,
So sorry to hear of Bill's passing. He was a great guy for sure. I can still hear him yelling for the ball from the outfielders "here let me help you" as we were playing slow pitch for PPUMC so many years ago.
I sure have some great memories those days.
I also have some of Betsy Lane, KY with you and Larry as we had those kids up their for ASP.
Our driving back home as we played 20 questions on the CB radios and your yelling a question over the Gerry in another car so we had the answer before we told the third car.
May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief.
