Preceded in death by wife, Wilma; sons, Wendell and Warren; parents, Max and Irene; brother, Bernard; brother-in-laws, Dale Orstad, George Starlin and John Payne; niece, Cheri Starlin. Survived by, daughter, Wendy (Bob) Synowicki; daughter-in-law, Brigit; grandchildren, Michaela Pearson (Ben), Paul Synowicki (Chau), Eric Synowicki (Taylor), Breann Gulizia (Matt), Jacob Wills (Hannah) and Lindsey Wills; 13 great-grandchildren; sisters, Mary Jeane Orstad, Bonnie Starlin; sisters-in-law, Maxine Wills and Elaine Payne.
Family will receive friends Monday, May 24th from 5-7pm at the West Center Chapel. FUNERAL SERVICE: Tuesday, May 25th, 11am, Covenant Presbyterian Church (15002 Blondo Street). Interment: Villisca, IA. Memorials are suggested to Covenant Presbyterian Church, Hospice House or Millard VFW Post 8334.

Wendy, I am so sorry for all of the losses you've experienced in the last few years. Your family means the world to me and I cannot even begin to understand your sorrow. Of course I knew your mom very well but your dad was kind enough to come to my dad's funeral 2 years ago. I meant every day to send him a condolence notice about his 2 sons but as usual I thought I had time. Now I cannot believe I didn't take the time to acknowledge his sorrow (and yours of course). You will be in my prayers forever. I thank your mom every day for the incredible experience of knowing her and I know your dad supported her in her endeavors.
