Just before sunrise on March 19, 2012 in Honolulu, Hawaii, Bill Yakimetz (formerly of Vegreville) passed away peacefully surrounded by his devoted wife and family. After graduation, Bill began his lifelong quest of successful business and philanthropic ventures. In 1977, Bill moved to Honolulu to live in what he often referred to as "Paradise". Bill lived a life to be celebrated, was known for his positive attitude, wit, joie de vivre and his endearing love for his family, especially his wife and young grandchildren. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Dorene, daughters Jayne, Lynda and Tamara and son Billy and those whose lives he touched.

Happy Birthday Dad! I wish there were visiting hours in heaven, we would have the biggest birthday party ever. Dad,always celebrating your wonderful life, thoughts of you often. Now my every travels to the islands takes me to Maka'pu Point were I spend valued time with you. Its my place of peace. Happy Birthday to a wonderful father.

Happy Birthday Dad. I am sending a dove to heaven with a parcel on its wings. Be careful when you open it. Its full of beautiful things. Inside are a million kisses wrapped up in a million hugs, to say how much I miss you and to send you all my love. Dad, I hold you close within my heart and there you will remain to walk with me throughout my life until we meet again.

Dad, Hard to believe it has been three years. Remembering you is easy. I do it every day. Missing you is the heartache that never goes away. The scripture says: Proverbs 23:24 "The father of the righteous will greatly rejoice; he who father a wise son will be glad in him". I Love you Dad. Your guiding hand on my shoulder will remain with me forever.

hi everybody..... billy,i had to start delivering pizzas again in my old age, i ran into andrew kwan in mapunapuna and another guy i forget his name in the pearl city industrial park,he mentioned your dads passing away...... i'm typing this with tears in my eyes right now.
i usually only cry when my cats die..... bills the exception to the rule
