Willie Bolin Obituary
Mr. Bolin was a longtime resident of the coast. He was a member of The First Baptist Church of Vancleave and the David Buchanan Sunday School Class. He was a retired US Air Force veteran after 20 years and a former employee of Safety Systems in Biloxi.
Mr. Bolin was preceded in death by his parents, Willie and Faye Bolin, sister, Barbara Davis and son-in-law, Alton Maharrey.
Survivors include his wife, Alice Black Bolin of Ocean Springs, MS., daughter, Ivonda Bolin Maharrey of Covington, TN., son, Steven (Stephanie) Bolin of Claremore, OK., three sisters, Nina Gean Talley and Joyce Marie Kalkbrenner, both of Pine Bluff, AR., and Linda Faye Lee of Van Buren, AR., two brothers, T.J. Bolin of Sherrill, AR., and Billy D. Bolin of Pine Bluff, AR., seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be on Friday, March 4, 2011, from 10 am until 11 am, with an 11 am church service, all at the First Baptist Church of Vancleave. Burial will follow in Biloxi National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family prefers donations be made to The First Baptist Church of Vancleave, 12513 Hwy 57, Vancleave, MS., 39565.
The Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
