Willie Trujillo

Willie Trujillo was born January 29, 1936 and passed away peacefully at home on December 22, 2021. He was born in Las Vegas, NM where he lived with his parents, Pedro and Cruz Trujillo, four brothers and four sisters. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Nora Trujillo; his three children, Carla Trujillo (Leslie Larson), Julie Trujillo Fox, and Bill Trujillo (Gina Leigh); six grandchildren, Gary Fox, Jaci Lindsey, Jenna Homer, Trevor Trujillo, Tawny Aiello, and Vinny Trujillo; and six great-grandchildren.Willie served honorably in the US Navy, eventually bringing his family to Rodeo and then settling in Vallejo in 1967. He worked as a journeyman welder at C&H Sugar for 35 years. He enjoyed horseback riding, working with leather, and painting, but his biggest joy came from spending time with his family.Funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. on January 28 at St. Basil's Catholic Church and burial will be at the Sacramento Valley National Cemetery at a later date.
