Willis Rabey

RABEY _ Willis Charles Mr. Willis Charles Rabey of Calgary, passed away peacefully at Chinook Hospice Friday, March 31, 2006 at the age of 86 years. Willis will be dearly missed by his children, Dennis, Verna (Wayne) and Arleen (Brad), all of Calgary; six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, as well as his last surviving sibling, brother Maynard of Toronto. Willis is predeceased by his beloved wife Sadie in 2004 and their son Ross in 1962. Willis was born in Gaspe, Quebec on May 31, 1919. There he met Sadie, they married and moved to Montreal where they began their family. In 1977 the family headed west to Calgary. Willis was a loyal and hard-working man with a great love and devotion for his family. Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at MOUNTAIN VIEW FUNERAL HOME on Monday, April 3, 2006 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel of Mountain View Funeral Home on Tuesday, April 4, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Bryan Derksen. If so desired, a memorial tribute may be made to the Alberta Cancer Foundation, Tom Baker Cancer Centre (1331 - 29 Street N.W., Calgary, AB T2N 4N2).
