Published by Legacy Remembers on Sep. 16, 2010.
Winston Clark Gordon It is with deep love and sorrow we announce the passing of Winston Clark Gordon at the age of 44. Clark was born on Jan. 12, 1966 to Viola and Winston Gordon in Regina, where he was raised and received his education. Predeceased by his paternal grandparents Agnes and David Gordon, maternal grandparents Ruby and Edward Wahpooseyan, and his father Winston Gordon (2003). Clark will be dearly missed by his mother Viola, sisters Marcia, Amy (Mike), Tanya, and his special brother David. David was fortunate to have had the loving support of his brother who took on the caregiving responsibilities of his father. Clark leaves to cherish his memory his nieces and nephews, Jennifer (Nick), Amos, Scarlett (Kyle), Mieka, Moses and Titus Gordon. He held a special bond with his grand nephews Harold, Winston and Darrius. Clark is survived by many friends, particularly Jason Gilhooly (Regina) and Darin Snyder (North Delta, BC), who will always be considered extended family. He is also survived by his aunts Theresa Gordon (Maple Creek), Sarah Gordon, Hazel Wahpooseyan, Leona Gettle, Janet Dufour, Selina Brittain (all of Regina), Vera Wahpooseyan (Moose Jaw) and his uncle Roy Wahpooseyan (Regina). At an early age in elementary school, Clark became involved in sports, such as hockey, baseball and football. He also had a special interest in music and playing guitar. He held seasonal employment in the landscaping industry and took pride in the overall maintenance of the Church, which was founded by his father Winston. Clark will be remembered for his sense of humour, his faith and his commitment to family and friends. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation in Clark's memory to the Lighthouse Tabernacle of Regina Inc., 1101 Garnet Street, Regina, SK., S4T 2X9. Funeral Service to be held at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, September 16, 2010 Lee Funeral Home, 3101 Dewdney Avenue, S4T 0Y5, and Friday, September 17, 2010 at 12:00 p.m., George Gordon Community Hall, George Gordon First Nation.
