On Saturday, October 31, 2009, age 88, of North Huntingdon, formerly of Monroeville. Cardy was a member of St. Jude the Apostle Church and The Wegoettes. Daughter of the late James Nolan and the late Loretta (Campbell) Nolan Tierno. beloved wife of the late William "Bill" Vastadore; beloved mother of Patricia "Pat" Vastadore, Janet (Ron) Harkness and Loretta (Chuck) Matsko; loving grandmother of Ronald (Nancy) Anderson, Ronda (Andrew) Last, Christopher Matsko, MD, William (Shinea) Harkness and Nichol (Ralph) Roam; cherished great- grandmother of Jeremy and Renee Anderson, Flora Last, Jaron Harkness, Delaney and Campbell Roam; dear sister of James (Rita) Nolan, Elizabeth "Betty" (the late Don) Constantine, Jovita Roberts, the late Jack (Joann) Nolan, Pat Nolan, Sis (Ray) Anderson. Special Family Friend of Sallie Kaser. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and all who loved her. Friends received ALFIERI FUNERAL HOME, INC., 201 Marguerite Ave., Wilmerding, PA 15148, (412-824-4332) on Tuesday from 6-9 p.m. and Wednesday from 2-9 p.m. Service in the Funeral Home on Thursday at 9 a.m. followed by Mass of Christian Burial in St. Jude the Apostle Church at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in Good Shepherd Cemetery.

Dear Loretta & Chuck
We are so sorry for your loss. Tom and I want to offer our deepest sympathy to you and the family. Your mom was a very special lady I remember the fun times at the cottage and all of our visits over the years. She is at peace now, I will pray for all of you to cope with her loss.
