Arthur Clamp Obituary
Arthur Storey Clamp went to his heavenly home at age 90, on Sunday, January 6, 2019. Born on February 29, 1928, San Antonio, TX. He was a life long member of First Presbyterian Church. After graduating from Jefferson High School, he spent 3 years in the Army-Air Force as a radio operator. He enjoyed many achievements including his work at Southwest Research, a technician for RCA in Greenland, and helping to install the Pipe Organ at the Margarite B. Parker Chapel at Trinity University. His greatest pride was building the organ at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Seguin, TX. He loved to dance ballroom, country western, square and round dance with his favorite partner, his wife. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Mayme Storey Clamp (Fiesta Queen in 1913), his brother Charles Clamp, and his sister Mayme Pope. Arthur is survived by his loving wife Gloria of 21 years, two daughters, Marya Humble, Anne Bohac, son, Michael Jarstfer, and 7 grandchildren. A special thanks goes to the staff of Seasons Memory Care for the compassionate care they provided.

I knew Storey in the 1980s. We worked together at Comp-Data Communications. He was such a gentle soul and so knowledgeable about music and pipe organs.

I wish to thank all of Storey's friends for all the kind words. To know him is to love him! I thank God for bringing Storey into my life in Jan. 1988. In May we would have been married 22 years. I failed to mention Storey's 2 nephews (his brother's sons) Charlie and wife Liz from Destin Fl their daughter from Greenville
SC Dwight and wife Phyllis from N.Little Rock,AR and their 2 sons were at the Memorial. His sister's daughter lives in Florida and her son is in Georgia and were unable to make the trip. Thanks to all of our friends for their prayers, love and support.

Gloria, thank you for being Storey's best friend and loving wife for the past 21 years. We will all miss his kindness and gentleness (and of course, that unmistakable sense of humor). Almost 91 years is a long time, he had a very full and fruitful life.
