Yolanda McMillan Obituary
Yolanda Anita McMillan, 47, made her transition in Clarkston, GA. She was born on February 19, 1970 to the late Robert McMillan Sr. and Bobbie McMillan in New Haven, CT. To cherish her memories, she leaves behind a loving mother, Bobbie Ann McMillan; two brothers, Robert McMillan, Jr of New Jersey and Patrick McMillan (Veronica) of New Haven, CT; two sisters, Phyllis Pierre of West Haven, CT and Angela McMillan of Washington, DC; nieces Lakeisha McMillan, Denise McCoy, Genesis McCoy, Jada McMillan; nephews Patrick McMillan, Jr. and Thompson Nmegbu; godparents Elder Samuel and Betty Harris, and a host of other relatives and friends. A ceremony of celebration of her life will be held on Thursday January 25, 2018 at 11am at Morning Star Church, 125 Dixwell Ave. New Haven, CT. Calling hours from 10am until time of service. I'm at a loss for words right now. I remember the day we met in an elevator @ CCSU. You were one of the sweetest people that I have ever met & I am so grateful that we became friends. My thoughts & prayers are with the McMillan family.

In searching the internet to connect with my long lost friend, I found, I can now only keep her in my memories. I'm sad to hear she is no longer with us. I will always remember her.

Yolanda was a beautiful person inside and out. I had the privilege of working with her on a short job stint we both had. I will remember Yolanda as a very dedicated and hard working employee even in the difficult work environment we were in. She always wanted to do the right thing. She was a woman of good and strong character. God bless you Yolanda and your family. I am so happy I had the chance of knowing you even though a short time.
