Yordy Jose Perez, known affectionately as "Yayi" or Papi, passed away on June 19, 2024, in Charleroi, PA, at the age of 44. Born on April 23, 1980, in the Dominican Republic, Yordy brought joy, leadership, and compassion to every aspect of his life.

Yordy's career was marked by his expertise and dedication as a mechanic. He worked at Fourth Street Barbecue, Ford Motors, and Tregembo Motors, where he was respected for his skill and work ethic. Beyond his professional achievements, Yordy was deeply involved in his community. He was an active member of the Brothers of the Hammers and devoted his time to coaching baseball and football for the Donora Baseball Little League and Charleroi Elementary, respectively.

His hobbies included spending quality time with his friends and being actively involved in various local sports and community groups. Yordy's commitment to nurturing young talent and fostering a sense of community was evident through his enthusiastic participation in local sports and mentoring programs.

Yordy is survived by his spouse, Chelsea Wiley; children, Micheala Fluker, Carys Perez, Peyton Reed, Nilah Perez, Camden Perez, Christian Wiley, and Nicholas Wiley; mother, Carmen Vasquez Nin; father, Cresencio Pérez; and siblings, Edwin, Oliver, Elizabeth, Breselyn, and Bresdly. He was a beloved son, brother, father, husband, coach, coworker, and friend.

Services to honor and celebrate Yordy's life will be held at House of Jackson MC, located at 546 Thompson Avenue, Donora, PA. The visitation will take place on Saturday, June 22, 2024, from 4-6 pm, and on Sunday, June 23, 2024, from 3-6 pm. A repass will follow Sunday's service, starting at 6 pm at "The Ave" on Thompson Avenue.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Yordy's memory. For details on contributions, please contact Ebony Goins.

Yordy's legacy of kindness, dedication, and community involvement will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Yordy was always a genuine friend, he loved everyone unconditionally and that's what I'll miss most. He loved his God Daughter and she loved him as much! We will miss you forever and I'll make sure she doesn't forget you! Rest well Yordy

I wish we would have talked things out n made 'em right. Always thought that there would be time to fix it later. Thought I was too busy to take the time now I wish I would have made the time. Still many good memories of love and laughter, just wish we had more. Fly high friend. Rest easy now.

Ill remember how cool and laid back Yordy was and how he made fun of me asking him for a pen and calling it something crazy in Spanish. He called me Pluma from then on out. He is going to be missed.
