Yousef is survived by his wife of 27 years Clare, his sons Cameron Yousef and Nicholas Morgan, his mother Manijeh Torfeh-Perot (Jeane) of Paris, France, his sisters Chirine Ghiai (Jeane Luc) and Nadia Ghiai both of France, his uncle Mamal Torfeh (Fery) of London and Paris, His Aunt Maryam Armstrong-James (Neil) of London, His Aunt Massoume Torfeh of London, His cousins; Darius Armstrong-James (Teresa) Cyrus Armstrong-James, Francis Outred (Helen) of London, Roxanne Torfeh (Richard) of London and Paris, Afsaneh Bassir Pour of Belgium and Homeyra Crespi of Paris.
Sister and brother-in-laws; Marguerite Telnack (Jack) of Michigan, Leslie Frankenhimer (John) of Los Angeles CA, Neil McCarthy of Torrance CA, Sheila Ringe (David) of Florida, Sean McCarthy of Woodland Hills CA, Honore Rausch (Jeff) of Westlake Village CA, Mary Borowy (Rich) of Woodland Hills, CA, Georgette Caplan (Mark) of Philadelphia, PA. 11 nieces and nephews and countless cousins and cousins-in-law from around the world. He is pre-deceased by his father Ezat Bassirpour and his mother and father in-law Georgette and Neil McCarthy.
He was a gentle loving man and a bright shining light in our lives and he will be greatly missed. He is at peace now embraced in God's loving arms.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donation be made in his children's names to Ameriprise Financial c/o Adam Goldstein 23622 Calabasas Road, Suite 320 Calabasas, CA 91302

As I had a chance to get to know you as a friend after about 4 decades from Andisheh school era - I realized that you had a higher self that embedded itself deeper down to your roots and family love. That was quite impressive and respectable to me - despite other commotions we played mindlessly sometimes! I appreciate being associated with you as my friend - more closely - for the last several years, after about 4 decades ago!

I love you so much dad. I've missed you everyday since you've been gone...and I can't help feeling like you're gonna walk right in the front door like you always did. My memory isn't what it used to be, but I will remember everything you ever taught me for the rest of my life...and every little detail of your life. And I will carry on your legacy as best I can. Your true legacy...the one you never gave yourself enough credit for.
I know wherever you are now, you're probably 'dropping knowledge' and making your experiences useful to others...just as you did for me. I don't envy those other souls...I just hope they realize what they got with you.
