Yves Gomes Obituary
Born at sea, the son of Jose F. and Noelle S. (Poly) Gomes, he lived in New Bedford most of his life. He was a communicant of Our Lady of the Assumption Church.
Yves was employed as a machinist at Plansee U.S.A. He enjoyed the company of his dogs.
Survivors include his parents; his former wife, Lucy Bryant of Florida; his partner, Jeffrey Vieira of New Bedford; 2 sons, Jamie Gomes of Florida and Spencer Gomes of Michigan; 2 brothers, Alain Gomes and Francis Gomes, both of New Bedford; 1 granddaughter, Leila; several nieces and nephews.
His Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Friday at 9 AM in Our Lady of the Assumption Church.
Arrangements are with the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park Street, New Bedford.
