Yvette Maxine Gardner Columbus - Yvette M. (Greta) Gardner passed away March 8, 2023 at James Cancer Center in Columbus, Ohio after a two year illness.

Born February 27, 1949 to Max E. and Anne M. (Lisius) Gardner of Ashland, Ohio.

Yvette graduated from Ashland High School in the class of 1967. She was Homecoming Queen in 1966. She Graduated from Ashland College in 1971.

Yvette worked for many years for the Ohio School For The Blind and Deaf. She later worked and retired in 2011 from the Ohio School Board Association.

She loved family, friends and her critters. She had a true love for all animals. She left behind 2 dogs, two cats and two horses that now reside with family and friends. She loved training, riding and vacationing with friends who also owned and loved riding horses. All her pets will miss her.

Along with her beloved animals, she will be missed by her sister Dianne Dreyer and nephew Vito Christopher Peraino, brother Stephen and wife Cynthia (Stephens) Gardner. She was preceded in death by her parents Max E. and Anne (Lisius) Gardner.

Yvette's life was one lived with Gusto, Laughs and Love.

She will be missed by all who knew her

A celebration of her life and spreading of her ashes will be held Saturday, August 19, 2023 at Brownfield Ranch, 14888 Centerburg Road, Sunbury, Ohio. Starting at noon. Come join her celebration.

Donations can be made in her memory to The American Cancer Society or the American Humane Society.
