Yvette Nagy Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Jun. 13, 2017.
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our courageous and inspiring Yvette (Frances) Nagy (Olchewski) on June 10, 2017 at the age of 58. Yvette will be forever remembered for her loving, selfless, hard working spirit that was the corner stone of her entire family. Her love for the simple things in life will forever remind us to cherish each moment. She is survived by her devoted husband Michael and her three sons who she loved more than life itself: Steve (Katie), Dave (Lynzie) and Tom (Alishia). She will be missed especially by her grandchildren who were the light of her life, Amelia and Vince. She is also survived by her loving parents Evette and Bill Sutton; brothers Bill (Michaela) and Sam (Sheryl); sisters Maureen (Dave), Susan (Rick), Louise (Tom) and Teena (Terry). She will be fondly brought to mind by countless friends, nieces, nephews and an extended family "In Love". Yvette was predeceased and will be greeted by her big brother Dennis. There will be a Funeral Service on Saturday June 17, 2017 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church (2202 Park Avenue, Lumby, BC) at 10:00am. Following the funeral service there will be a burial ceremony at the Lumby Cemetery and a Reception at the Home of Mike and Yvette Nagy (173 Louie View Drive, Lumby, BC). The family wishes to thank the staff of Vernon Hospice House for their care and compassion.
In lieu of flowers a donation can be made in Yvette's name to Vernon Hospice House. Thank you Yvette for sharing your wonderful soul and letting as all be a part of your journey. You have truly left this world a brighter place.
