Yvonne M. Gallo

Yvonne M. (Predella) Gallo, age 89, a lifelong Quincy resident, died peacefully, Thursday, July 2, 2015 at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, surrounded by her loving family. Yvonne was born in Quincy, raised and educated in Quincy schools and was a graduate of Quincy High School. She had been employed for over ten years as a secretary for the Alfredo Aiello Italian Food Company in Quincy. Previously, she was secretary for the former South Shore Mosquito Control for many years. Yvonne was devoted to her family and especially to her cherished grandchildren and great grandchildren. She enjoyed supporting their various activities and took pride in their accomplishments. Beloved wife of the late Alfio J. Gallo. Devoted mother of Gerald P. Gallo and Linda Norton of Hopedale, Carolyn M. Provan and her husband Keith of Kingston, Jayne A. Buczek of Braintree and Edward Buczek of Raynham, Kevin P. Gallo and his wife Lisa of Braintree. Loving grandmother of seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Sister of Pauline C. Maurer of Florida and the late Richard P. Predella. Yvonne is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral from the Sweeney Brothers Home for Funerals, 1 Independence Avenue, Quincy, Tuesday, July 7, at 9 a.m. Funeral Mass in Saint John the Baptist Church, 44 School Street, Quincy at 10 oclock.
