Rosa Mae Pace, 88 of Wallins, entered her Eternal Home on Monday, October 21, 2019 following an illness. She was born September 10, 1931 in Bledsoe to the late Abe Bailey and the late Nancy Huff Bailey. Rosa Mae was a Godly woman, a loving wife and mother, and a long time member of the Bledsoe Pentecostal Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Pace, Sr.; five brothers, John, Charlie, Elihu, Richard and Berto Bailey; and four sisters, Ann Estridge, Flora Burns, Tressa Johnson and Vina Johnson.
Rosa is survived by five children, Evelyn Creech and husband Michael, Wallins; Denny Pace and wife Connie, Richmond; Carolyn Nicely and husband Stan, Wallins; Roy Pace and wife Lori, Pineville; and Barbara Pace, Wallins; two brothers, Abe Bailey and wife Lois, Gulston; and Otto Bailey and wife Lila, West Memphis, AK; two sisters, Lydia Caldwell, Bledsoe and Lola Brock, Jaskson County, KY.
Also surviving are seven grandchildren, Mike Creech, (Tammy); Brandon Pace, (Shannon); Stan Nicely, Jr., (Helen); Jeremy Nicely, (Kylee); Justin Pace; Amy Brashears, (Josh); and Loren Scott; 10 great-grandchildren, Halee Adkins, Madison Creech, Amanda Creech, C.C. Pace, Liam Pace, Alyssa Nicely, Leah Nicely, Logan Brashears, Kaitlyn Blue, Quaid Blue and was expecting another great-grandson in the spring.
Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Thursday, October 24, 2019 at the Coxton Faith Tabernacle Church. Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. with Reverend Stan Nicely officiating.
Graveside services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday at Resthaven Cemetery chapel. Those wishing to go to the cemetery can meet at the Harlan Funeral Home at 10:30 a.m. for the procession. Friends and family will serve as pallbearers.
Harlan Funeral Home is in charge of her arrangements.
