Dear Al, Cindy, Jacob, and Stella,
We hurt for you, we pray for you, .. We are without the words to console you, so we will share his Great Gramma's favorite Irish Blessing.
In the name of Molly's beloved protector, and protector over us all, St. Patrick. We pray for Zachary, we pray for you, we pray for all those he loved, we pray to Our Lord, that through His Saint, Stella be eternally protected, safe, happy, healthy, and loved.
May you see God's light on the path ahead
When the road you walk is dark.
May you always hear,
Even in your hour of sorrow,
The gentle singing of the lark.
When times are hard may hardness
Never turn your heart to stone,
May you always remember
when the shadows fall—
You do not walk alone.
May love and laughter light your days,
and warm your heart and home.
May good and faithful friends be yours,
wherever you may roam.
May peace and plenty bless your world
with joy that long endures.
May all life's passing seasons
bring the best to you and yours!
May God give you...
For every storm, a rainbow,
For every tear, a smile,
For every care, a promise,
And a blessing in each trial.
For every problem life sends,
A faithful friend to share,
For every sigh, a sweet song,
And an answer for each prayer.
Love, JNK xxoo

Dear Cindy and Al,
Words from family and friends are ever so important. I always enjoyed have Zach here when he came to visit and stay at Aunt Debbie and Uncle Paul's. He was always so pleasant and kinds when he stopped at my place.
I know how special he was to Adelay, Scarlet, Hayden and Harley. They always talked about how they kept in touch with him and how much they loved him and I could tell he loved them too.
God Bless you in these trying times. Family and friends will always be there for both of you. Prayers always help, much more in sad times like this.
Love,
Carol Szabockapc

Cindy and Al, and all of the extended Marks family, I am so sorry for what you are going through. No parent should have to bury a child. Zach was taken far too soon. The days ahead will be difficult. Know that your friends near and far are praying daily for healing and peace for all of you as you lay Zach to rest.

Thinking of all of you and Zachary today. I remember the summer cookouts at the house and him as a little boy. He was always so cute. I recall he used to follow me around when he was real small. I don't know why that sticks in my mind. He had a big heart and I know the love all his cousins and family had for him will continue to let him live on through stories and memories. I attached a few photos to a post from a recent cookout in Ohio. Love to all. ♥

Al, Cindy, Peg, Mike, and all Zach's Family and Friends:
The news of Zach's passing brought great sadness to all of us who knew him or his family, but that sadness could not possibly compare to what your family is going through. While none of your friends could ever understand the degree and pain of your loss, it is my hope that each of us can help carry a small amount for you and lighten the load, if even slightly. Please accept my deepest sympathies and most heart felt condolences. Call upon those posting here for anything you need or simply to talk.
You are now, and will remain, in my prayers and in my heart ... especially little Stella. A candle is lit in Zachary's memory at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Portland, ME. God speed Zach.

Just talked to my niece Katy and she told me the sad news about my great nephew Zach. I never had the pleasure of meeting him but from what I hear, he was a great and special young man. So very sad to leave at such a young age. My condolences to his family and to hers.

I am so very sorry for your loss. As Zach's school nurse, and one of my daughters best friends I was able to get to know him very well. To say I was a big fan is an understatement. The Mark's boys will always hold a special place in my heart. Sending thoughts and prayers while you navigate your new normal without Zach. Life is not fair, he will be missed.

Zach excelled at everything he tried. Throughout his life I celebrated has passion for reading. He would drag his mom to the library several times a week and come home with a stack of books and get right to reading. He loved skateboarding and didn't bat an eyelash when the opportunity to attend an overnight camp in Waterville. I attended his last day and could not believe the tricks and fearlessness I saw. His academics came so naturally and we got to brag on how he was always on the honor roll took AP classes and won a scholarship for full tuition to any state college/university. His first job was at a school I worked at and my colleagues were shocked to hear how young he was because he was so mature, kind and capable. With the birth of his daughter I saw my nephew become a man with so much love in his heart that he would do anything for his new young family. You heard the excitement in their voices as Missy and Zach were planning for their future.

I am heartbroken to hear of Zach's passing. He always treated me With kindness and respect and I felt that he had a deep sense of compassion toward others. There are too few with Zach's characteristics in this world and we are all poorer for this loss. My deepest sympathies go to his immediate and extended family.

Our hearts are very heavy for all of you upon hearing of Zach's unexpected passing. We remember the many times seeing Zach & Jake at Peggy & Mike's house, swimming & running around their back yard - full of young boy vigor. The passing of Zach at such a young age is not something that you or any parent, sibling, or partner should have to experience, and we extend our sincerest condolences to all of you. You will be held in our thoughts & prayers.
