Zachary Wardleigh Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on May 16, 2025.
Zachary Robert "Zak" Wardleigh, age 38, passed away on May 3, 2025, in Las Vegas, Nevada. Born on April 7, 1987, in Ogden, Utah, Zak brought light and laughter to those around him throughout his life.

A graduate of Eldorado High School, Zak was known for his fearless spirit and generous heart. He had a deep love for adventure and the outdoors-riding street motorcycles and ATVs was more than a hobby; it was a passion that often led him to the sand dunes where he felt most alive. Whether tearing through desert trails or simply enjoying time with loved ones, Zak embraced life with energy and enthusiasm.

Zak cherished spending time with his girlfriend Jessica Kiser, who stood by him through life's highs and lows. He also shared a close bond with his mother Jodi Wardleigh, nephew Jaden Wardleigh, niece Zehida Wardleigh, and many friends from all walks of life. His ability to connect with people was remarkable-he made friends easily and left lasting impressions wherever he went.

He is survived by his girlfriend Jessica Kiser; mother Jodi Wardleigh; father Daniel "Danny" Coggins; brother Tyson Wardleigh; grandfather LaVerl Child; aunts Debbie Larsen and Tiffany Snider; nephew Jaden Wardleigh; niece Zehida Wardleigh; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who will miss him dearly.

Zak was preceded in death by his biological father Roger Wardleigh; grandmothers Donna Child and Carol Child; along with other beloved family members.

Known for his humor, kindness, and loyalty, Zak was always ready to lend a hand-especially to those in need. He regularly helped his elderly neighbor by carrying groceries, taking out trash bins, or assisting with any task they needed. These small acts of service reflected the big heart behind his bold personality.

A heartfelt thank you goes out to Jessica Kiser for her unwavering support of Zak throughout their journey together. Special thanks also to Nick Garrot for his help and support in making arrangements following Zak's passing.

May the memory of Zachary Robert "Zak" Wardleigh bring comfort to all who knew and loved him. A Celebration of Life will be held on May 31, 2025, from 06:00 PM to 08:00 PM at Sunset Park 2601 Sunset Rd. A Lantern Candle lighting will be done at dark in memory of Zak.

Zack, I love and miss you more and more everyday. My heart is broke. However, I know you are finally able to rest in peace. I just wish you could have found that peace here. No matter how bad and dark things got for you, you always told me you loved me. I am really going to miss hearing that!!! You will always be my baby boy. I love you always and forever

Zachary,
I hope you're finally in the peace you had been desperate to find for so long, your heart was so pure despite the dark path we chose, but hey maybe that's what your purpose was ,to bring light to those in the dark, because you certainly touched my life amongst many others. You will surely be missed. You may not have known how loved you really were and that's to bad because I know there's a lot of heavy hearts tonight. Rest in paradise thug:)
With love ,aly
