Maureen, I remember the bright wee boy with the gorgeous red hair so many years ago when we all played pictionary at your house in False Creek. My heart is in shock to know that this obviously so-loved young man has left this plane and waits for you to some day join him. I honestly cannot know the level of your heart break as I have never been through this experience. Take loving care of yourself for he would want this. To return to Heritage Hall, the place of so many good memories long ago, is such a lovely choice. I will be there in spirit as you celebrate Zachary's good life. With sincere condolences, Lynda Pitt-Brooke

I see how his smile and his compassion touched so many of us over his life. What I would give for one more funny, thoughtful, intelligent conversation. Love you, lil'cuz. You are truly missed. xo

Even though Zach gave so much to others, I don't think he knew how much he was cherished by so many. Kind, compassionate and caring, he leaves a deep hole in all of our lives. The only small consolation is that we'll see you again one day, Zach.

My heart is broken and my world is now a bit dimmer without Zach's tremendously loving light. He will be remembered as a brilliant soul with an open and loving heart and to all those he touched, will never be forgotten. I love you and miss you like crazy. Please give Nana a hug for me. xo

I was a shock to hear of Zachary passing. It's difficult to find words that say just what I feel. You all have my deepest sympathy. Love, Auntie Doris
