Published by Legacy Remembers on Jun. 30, 2021.
Zaniya Ann Wright (Niya), beloved daughter of Marissa Boose-Barrett (Michael) and Robert Wright, Sr. (and wife) was taken from us on Thursday, June 17, 2021 in Manchester, CT. She was 13 years old. Niya was born in Hartford, CT on January 4, 2008. She was 3 years old when the family moved to Manchester, CT and she attended Manchester Public Schools through the 7th grade. Some of her favorite hobbies were arts and crafts, drawing, painting, nature walks and going on thrilling amusement rides. Zaniya loved all things fashion and beauty-related. She took gymnastics and was looking forward to becoming a cheerleader. To mourn her loss, in addition to her parents, she leaves behind a big brother, Ziyon Irving; half brothers and sisters, Robert Wright, Jr., Joshua Wright, Cameron Wright, Katya Wright, Helen Wright, Emmanuel Wright; maternal grandparents, Tommy and Anna Boose (Raymond Lumpkin, II); paternal grandparents, Wesley and Faigie Wright; 3 aunts and 3 uncles, including her uncle Qulen; a host of relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her step grandmother, Mary Frances Boose. Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 1, 2021, 11:00am-12:00 pm, at The Lodge, 130 Deerfield Road, Windsor, CT.
