ADDISON -?Adam Patrick Weidner, age 27, of Addison passed away on Sunday, June 19, 2016, at his home from an apparent heart issue.

He was born on Dec. 10, 1988, in Syracuse, N.Y., to Eric R. and Rebecca J. (Piekiel) Weidner. Adam married BreAnne E. Renner on Sept. 12, 2015, in Tecumseh, and she survives. Adam and his family moved to Tecumseh in 1998. He then moved to Addison in March of 2015. He graduated from Tecumseh High School in 2007.

Adam earned an associate degree in culinary arts from Jackson College and was a chef for The Moveable Feast in Manchester. He was a member of St. Elizabeth Parish in Tecumseh. He enjoyed disc golf, shooting pool and fishing, but the joy of his life was being a husband and father.

He is survived by his wife, BreAnne, and two children, Ava and William; his parents, Eric and Rebecca Weidner of Tecumseh, and his father- and mother-in-law, Rodney and Lynne Renner of Hudson; two brothers, Bill (Sarah and niece Millie) Weidner of Clinton and Mike Weidner of Tecumseh; sister-in-law, Kathleen Renner of Tecumseh; his paternal grandmother, Mildred Weidner of Highland, Ill.; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather and maternal grandparents. Adam will be sorely missed by his family and many friends.

Cremation will take place. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 25, 2016, at the Brown-Van Hemert Funeral Home in Addison, with Fr. Dan Wheeler officiating. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial of ashes will take place at Hillside Cemetery in Addison immediately after the service.
