Anna Jean Fetzer

1932 - 2021

ADRIAN - Anna Jean Fetzer, age 88, of Adrian passed away on Sunday, Jan. 31, 2021, at her home.

She was born on Nov. 30, 1932, in Adrian to John and Anna (Anderson) Butler. On Sept. 1, 1951, in Adrian, she married James Eugene Fetzer, and he survives. Anna was a member of Holy Family Parish, St. Mary's Campus.

In addition to her husband, James, Anna is survived by her son, Mark (Bridget) Fetzer of Adrian; daughters, Christine (Terry) Starry-Lyon of Kingston Springs, Tenn., Susan (Ronald) Starry of Tecumseh, Marjorie (Jane Rupp) Fetzer of Horton and Amy (Lawrence) Wollett of Adrian; grandchildren, Candace (Joseph) Booms, Crystal (Skyler) Vaughn, Heather Hamilton, Charles II (Laura) Belser, Ryan Bush, Kyle Bush, Griffin Wollett, Madeline Wollett, Emily Fetzer, Tony (Paula) Fetzer, and Colleen (Michael) Lyall and great-grandchildren, Saleen, Amelia, Josie, Carly, Wyett, Andrew, Hunter, Sophia, Charlotte, Alexandria, October London, Ella, Skyshun Jr., Roman, Alexander and Clara.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son, David P. Fetzer and sister, Rose Mary Fetzer.

Visitation for Anna will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 3, 2021, with a vigil prayer service at 7 p.m. at the Anderson-Marry Funeral Home, Adrian.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and social distancing regulations, only a limited number of individuals will be allowed in the chapel at a time and face coverings are required. The funeral liturgy will be private with Fr. Michael Newman as celebrant. Burial will be held in St. Mary's Cemetery.
