David Sawyer Obituary
David was born Feb. 27, 1939, in Ypsilanti, Mich., to parents Florence Colman Sawyer and Howard Holloway Sawyer. David's family and childhood home was in Adrian, Mich.
David graduated from Michigan Technological University with a chemistry degree in 1961. He was a chemist with Dow Corning Corporation at Hemlock Semi Conductor for more than 30 years where he earned patents for his effort.
David enjoyed his motorcycle, woodworking and bicycling in later years and cared deeply for his church family.
David was preceded in death by his parents, and he will be buried in his family plot in Palmyra Cemetery.
Funeral services for David will be 2 p.m. Thursday, March 24, 2016, at Anderson Funeral Home, Adrian. Visitation will be from 1 to 1:45 p.m. prior to the funeral service at Anderson Funeral Home, Adrian. You may send condolences to the family at www.andersonfuneralservices.com.
