Lou Corbin Obituary
She was born on Aug. 23, 1940, in Honaker, Ky., to Andy and Clara (Williams) Akers. Lou married Rodney V. Corbin on May 20, 1983, in Bristol, Va., and he survives.
Lou worked for 37 years at Faraday in Tecumseh. After retiring, she raised miniature horses on the family farm. She loved to sew, travel, trips to the casino and enjoyed lunches with her sisters. She will be missed by all who loved her.
Surviving besides her husband, Rodney, are three sons, Andy Lee Case, Rick Corbin and Rex Corbin; five daughters, Cheryl Lynn (Terry W.) Collins, Teresa Ann (John F.) Kidd, Jackie Lou (Raymond T.) Snyder, Ann Coleman, and Robin (Charles) Punches; eight grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; two brothers, Dave Akers and Larry (Vicki) Akers; two sisters, Joanne (John) Brown and Rona (Gene) Butts. She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Yvonne Burgett; and one son, Raymond Corbin.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 8, 2015, at the Brown-Van Hemert Funeral Home in Addison, with the Rev. Lloyd Jewett officiating. Burial will take place at North Rome Cemetery, Manitou Beach, Mich. The visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday.

I'll always remember the fun at faraday especially the time at 2:00 break when we were at picnic table you were resting and I was reading. We both were waiting for the other to go in. Finally one of us realized it was 2:30. We went baci in using 2different doors. We were never missed!!! Laughed a lot over that one!
