Donald Dean Staver

Donald Dean Staver, 89, of Port Huron, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 14, 2026, at the Blue Water Hospice Home in Marysville, Michigan.

He was born on March 31, 1936, in Adrian, Michigan, to the late Harold and Thelma Staver. Donald graduated from Blissfield High School, class of 1954. He attended The University of Michigan, Hillsdale College and graduated with a BBA and MBA from the University of Toledo. He was an avid boater, skier, and musician.

Donald married his wife, Sandra, in September of 1982. She preceded him in death on March 28, 2015.

He was first employed by the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago. He retired from Comerica, Inc. in Detroit in 1992, as an Executive Officer and a Director of several banks and social organizations.

Donald was a life member of the Fort Gratiot Masonic Lodge, 374 Free 32 Degree Mason, Moslem Shrine Temple, Port Huron Elks Lodge, Port Huron Moose Lodge, Sons of the American Legion, Port Huron Yacht Club, and a Past Commodore of Devils Lake Yacht Club in Manitou Beach, Michigan.

Cremation has taken place, and private services and a burial will be held at a later date at the Ottawa Hills Memorial Park Cemetery in Toledo, Ohio.
