Michael Schneirla Obituary
Mike was an avid golfer, as well as a respected father, brother, son and husband. Mike bravely fought his long-time battle with mental illness and continued to fight at every turn. Mike suddenly passed away Aug. 14, 2018, peacefully in his sleep in Adrian, Mich.
Mike is survived by his one daughter, Robyn (Jim) Bliskey of Shelby Township; three sisters, Carol (Bob) Kasmer of Lancaster, Pa.; Kathy (Doug) Wilcox of Adrian and Rebecca (Alan) Gabriel of Manalapan, N.J.; two granddaughters, MaKenna and Payton Bliskey; nephews, Justin Clement, Cory, Kyle and Ethan Kasmer and Nicholas and Adam Gabriel. He was preceded in death by his parents, Janice and Dean; a sister, Nancy at birth, and one nephew, Alec Gabriel.
The family would like to thank Robert Rothenberger for the care that he has given Mike for the past eight years.
Visitation for Mike will be from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 25, 2018, at the Tecumseh Chapel of Handler Funeral Homes. The funeral service will begin at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Amy Gillhouse officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Clinton. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.handlerfuneralhomes.com.
