Richard Krzyzaniak Obituary
He was born on July 4, 1931, in Manchester, the son of Anthony F. and Mary M. (Piechowiak) Krzyzaniak. Dick married Shirley Anne Brooks on Feb. 27, 1960, at St. Mary Roman Catholic Church, Manchester, and she survives. He served his country proudly in the U.S. Navy. Dick was employed with Ford Motor Co. and was a dedicated farmer. He was a member of St. Mary Roman Catholic Church where he was a 3rd and 4th Degree Knights of Columbus. Dick was an avid hunter and devoted fan of the University of Michigan, "Go Blue"; Detroit Lions and Tigers sports teams. He was a member of UAW Local #898.
Dick was a true family man. He dearly loved his wife, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Dick's memory will live on in the lives of his family.
His Family….In addition to Shirley, his loving wife of 57 years, Dick is survived by his children, Rick, Nick and Jim (Shannon) Krzyzaniak, Louanne Justus; sister,Delores Randall; grandchildren, Bradley, Brock, Jake, Tara, Nicholas, Rachel; great-grandchildren, Austin and Wyatt; many nieces and nephews; and sister-in-law, Mary Krzyzaniak. Dick was preceded in death by his parents; brothers Leonard, John, Donald and Eugene; and a sister, Irene.
His Farewell…Dick's family will greet friends from 3 to 5 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, March 17, 2017, at Borek Jennings Funeral Home, 207 E. Duncan St., Manchester, with a Rosary at 7 p.m. followed by a 4th Degree Knights of Columbus service. On Saturday, the family will gather at St. Mary Roman Catholic Church beginning at 10 a.m. until the time of Mass at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Fr. Bosco Padamattummal as Celebrant. Interment at St. Mary Roman Catholic Cemetery.
In Richard's honor, memorial donations may be shared with 3rd Degree Knights of Columbus, 4th Degree Knights of Columbus, The Manchester American Legion or St. Mary Roman Catholic Church.
