William H. Stuttz

1930 - 2017

HUDSON - William H. Stuttz, age 87, of Hudson, died Nov. 3, 2017, at Hillsdale Hospital, surrounded by his loving family.
He was born June 18, 1930 in Berkey, Ohio to William H. and Wilma (Stinson) Stuttz. This Nov. 1 marked their 70th anniversary, which he was very proud of… He married Martha Viola "Pat" Maxim and she survives. He worked for 30 years at Stubnitz and Green, Martin Marietta and Michigan Milk producers before retiring in 1995. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Hudson and a life time member of the Masonic lodge in Jasper. William was a founding member of the Onsted Coon Club, he enjoyed hunting raccoons and rabbits.
He is survived by his wife, one sister, Eva Campbell of Hudson; four daughters, Peggy (Dale) Duff-Harris of Manitou Beach, Penny (John) Lindsey of Allen, Pamela Stuttz Nudo of Gilbert, Ariz., and Polly (John) Chesser of Manitou Beach; 15 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, Perry Stuttz, a brother, Dale F. Stuttz and sister, Joyce Bugg.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 7, 2017, at 11 a.m. at the Anderson-Marry Funeral Home, Adrian, with Pastor Tom Ball and Pastor John Rath of the First Baptist Church of Hudson officiating. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery in Hudson. Visitation will be held on Monday, Nov. 6, 2017, from 2-8 p.m. at the Anderson-Marry Funeral Home, Adrian and also on Tuesday from 10-11 a.m. prior to the service.
