Mankato, MN - Kevin Joel Moret, age 67, of Mankato passed away on Monday, May 12, 2025.

A Celebration of Kevin's Life will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, June 3, 2025 at Northview - North Mankato Mortuary. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m., Monday, June 2, 2025. In honor of Kevin's love of softball and baseball, attendees of Monday night's visitation are encouraged to wear jerseys if they wish to do so. Visitation will continue one hour before the service Tuesday all at Northview - North Mankato Mortuary. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the Gift of Life Transplant House - Rochester, MN.

Kevin was born in Sheldon, Iowa on March 5, 1958 to Marvin and Wineva "Wendy" Moret. Kevin moved to Mankato in 1968, graduating from Mankato East High School in 1976. He went on to attend Mankato State University, receiving a Bachelor's of Science degree in Business.

Kevin took great pride in being the founder and owner of three businesses: Belle Mar Video of Le Sueur, PuroClean Restoration of Mankato, and Moret Property.

Kevin began playing softball in 1974, and continued to be a passionate softball player with a career that spanned 5 decades. He was inducted into the Mankato Area Softball Association Hall of Fame in 2014. He began serving on the MASA Board of Directors in 2013, and became President in 2016.

Kevin's other hobbies included being an avid reader, movie-buff, and baseball fan, having visited 28 parks across the United States. In the last several years, he had found enjoyment in his weekly pickleball games followed by lunch with friends. Above all else, Kevin loved spending time with his children and grandchildren.

Kevin is survived by his children, Christopher (Karen), Daniel (Jacey), and Kelly (Jon) Jamieson; grandchildren, Jaxon, Nealyn, Lowen, Christopher "CJ," Patricia, and Romee; mother of his children, Linnea Ortley-Yetter; his dogs, Sadie and Kash, as well as many close friends.
