Judith Maisel Obituary

Judith Carol Maisel, 78, passed away Sunday, February 9, 2025. She was born April 21, 1946 in Hicksville, New York to the late Nicholas and Dorothy Squicciarini. She was employed with the Department of Health in Suffolk County, NY as Head of Security. She had many hobbies and particularly enjoyed golfing, politics, supporting her grandchildren, and supporting the WVU Women's Basketball team by attending games with her granddaughter, Julia. Judy is survived by her sons, Ken Maisel (Tammy) and Bill Maisel (Michelle); daughter, Stephanie Maisel; grandchildren, Lauren, Julia, Nico, and Christian; brother, Steve Squicciarini; and her dog, Dottie. She was preceded in death by her parents. Hastings Funeral Home has been entrusted with cremation arrangements. Visitation for friends and family will take place at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce St., Morgantown, on Monday, February 17th from 4:00PM to 8:00PM. I met Judy at the WV Womens BB games and it was obvious that she had a very charming personality. It was obvious that she was extremely close and proud of her family. I know she'll be deeply missed, but, she'll leave great memories to be remembered by all that meet her. May God Bless her and her family.
