ANDY SHIPLEY
LIMA — Andy Ray Shipley, age 41, was called into the presence of the Lord at 5:56 am Tuesday, December 20, 2016, at Northwest Texas Healthcare, Amarillo, TX.
Andy was born February 28, 1975 in Sandusky, OH, to Donald and Mary (Van Hyning) Shipley. On October 7, 2006 he married the love of his life Katrina L. (Ellis) Shipley. They were best friends from the day they met on September 28, 2003.
Andy proudly served in the United States Marine Corp. He had previously worked for Procter & Gamble and was currently working as a purchasing manager for Owens Corning. Andy enjoyed collecting old coins and was an avid fan of the Seattle SeaHawks. He loved making people laugh and he especially loved his wife and children with all his heart, "BOOM"!!!!
Survivors include his wife, Katrina L. Shipley; daughters, Anastasia, Lillyanna, Kaylee and Madeline Shipley; father, Donald Shipley; mother, Mary E. and Rex Gilbert; siblings, April Eilerman, Rick Shipley and Jami Bistline; father-in-law, David L. Ellis and mother-in-law, Tracy L. and James H. Scruggs.
Services will be held 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at CHILES - LAMAN FUNERAL AND CREMATION SERVICES, SHAWNEE CHAPEL. Pastor Ed Ingram will officiate the service.
Friends may call from 5:00 - 7:00 pm at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers please make memorial contributions to Superior Federal Credit Union, in name of "Minor Children of Andy Shipley."

I didn't know Andy for very long just the few months that I showed him houses, he made me laugh a lot. Katrina our thoughts and prayers are with you and your children.

I worked with Andy for almost 3 years. He was sooo funny. He had sweet dance moves and numerous imitations. He adored his wife she would text him thru the day and he would just giggle. He adored his girls his oldest he loved how her sense of humor was like his, his liliana he was so smitten by how intelligent and mature she is his kaylee was sassy and reminded him so much of Katrina and his baby Madeline she was daddy's girl. My deepest sympathy to you all he is so missed. I have great memories I will always cherish.

I only worked with Andy for 4 months at Owens Corning, ....he made me laugh all day....he was quite the charater...All he talked about was his family....I will miss him! John

I always enjoyed the great conversations we used to have sitting in the boat in the middle of a local reservoir even if the fish weren't biting. You will be greatly missed my friend. My condolences to the family on their loss.
